In 2019, I assisted the New York State Department of Labor, the Center for Economic Growth, and Albany Can Code to help develop the NYS Software Developer Certificate program. I helped establish the standards, mentored a software apprentice to journeyman, and evangelized the program to local businesses.
When I started at High-Voltage Software and Vicarious Visions, they were game-development studios without audio people or audio technology. I hired people, designed technology, directed global teams, managed budgets, and built audio departments that released many AAA game titles. As an Audio Director I was responsible for all coordination and content of the game audio for large franchises like Guitar Hero, Skylanders, and Tony Hawk.
