In 2015, when I started at Jahnel Group, there were fewer than 10 developers using personal gmail accounts to do daily business, and there was no IT department. Through my initiative, we moved to Google’s business platform, and I provided IT services to the team. The company quickly grew, and I matured the IT services to keep up with the expansion. In 2021, 130 employees at Jahnel Group benefited from my efforts hardening business systems, administrating company data, and managing all devices.
For Mid Hudson Insurance Company, I developed a full-stack web application to help their agents calculate bonuses. Using MHCs proprietary formula, this calculator executed Node.js and was hosted on the Google Cloud Platform.
When Globalfoundries began their transition to newer database and document-control systems, I was tasked with learning and training these systems. Examples include Newforma, MS Access, and Google for Business. I worked closely with software vendors and very quickly became a power-user of the systems. I provided technical support to teams and I structured group training and one-on-one support for novice and expert users.
